• Some new & exciting changes have been made for our 2009 fall tour! Future Threats is now for Duos, Trios, & Groups only! We have added the all new Ultimate Threat Solo Challenge – soloists will take part by performing a solo of their choice, by being interviewed by a faculty member, & by excelling during an audition. See the brochure & registration forms for more details.

• Check out the ‘Award Results’ page for Future Threats & Scholarship winners from the 2008 season. We need your help…we are missing the names of the Future Threats recipients from Calgary. If you received an award at Future Threats in Calgary, please let us know! Email us at info@triplethreatdance.com with which award you received.

• Congratulations to Shelaina Anderson & Joanna Roy for being named the 2008 Triple Threat Achievement Award recipients! For the 1st time in Triple Threat history, we had a tie!

FACULTY & ASSISTANT UPDATES:

• Faculty members TYCE DIORIO, LIL’C, and TABITHA & NAPOLEON are back on ‘SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE’

• Faculty members NICK FLOREZ & RJ DURELL choreographed a tour for singer KEISHA COLE

• Past TTDC assistant & faculty member, DEVIN JAMIESON, recently got off tour with BRITNEY SPEARS, and is now preparing for the MICHAEL JACKSON concerts in Europe! CONGRATS Devin!

• Past TTDC assistant, MEGAN LAWSON and faculty member MATT CADY continue their work with FANNY PAK (America’s Best Dance Crew). They have even launched a new Fanny Pak shoe!

• Faculty member BRADLEY ‘SHOOZ’ RAPIER & the GROOVALOOS are the winners of the NBC broadcast "SUPERSTARS OF DANCE," a breathtaking international dance competition led by executive producers Nigel Lythgoe and Simon Fuller, two of the masterminds behind "American Idol" and "So You Think You Can Dance" and hosted by Michael Flatley ("Lord of the Dance")! CONGRATS Bradley!

• NEW FACULTY ADDED to the 2009 tour include: WILL WINGFIELD (SYTYCD Finalist), STACEY TOOKEY (Choreographer for SYTYCD Canada), ARTEM CHIGVINTSEV (SYTYCD Finalist)

A message from the directors...

We began this venture to bring something new to Canada's dance community. From our personal experiences as students and as professionals in the entertainment industry, Triple Threat Dance Convention was created. Triple Threat has now progressed to become a collaboration of not only our own ideas, but of the ideas presented to us by students, teachers, and parents who have all been a part of the Triple Threat experience.

You can expect to take part in a weekend of amazing dance classes taught by an unparalleled faculty and you will be sure to come away motivated and inspired to become the best dancer you can be!
Our continuing pride in Triple Threat motivates us to put our hearts behind every detail of our convention. We thank you for your continued support and look forward to many more unforgettable seasons!
